"This may be the best buy in Mexico. Las Granadas is a beautiful and very comfortable bed and breakfast, plus it gives its guests an opportunity to bask in the tranquility and charm of a Zapotec village. It's one of those rare opportunities in today's busy world."

"We had a fabulous visit at Las Granadas -- an authentic B & B, nestled in a small Oaxacan village.   Teotitlán is a traditional Zapotec town. On any day you can see (and hear) burros, chickens and other  animals, observe weavers as they design beautiful rugs, visit the market, and see traditional celebrations. The rooms, set in a real Mexican household, offer incredible mountain views and a courtyard with lovely pomegranate trees. Josefina makes the best breakfast -- enough to give you a good start on a mountain walk.  It is a magical place!  Don’t miss it -- and stay a few days to get an entirely new view on life."                                              -- Joan & Bob Anyon, San Francisco, CA
"We had such a lovely stay at Las Granadas Bed and Breakfast!  The (deluxe) room was beautiful and immaculately clean, and the breakfast was delicious!"   -- Jon Hale and Katrina Lappin, Oakland, CA

"When Las Granadas first opened, we stayed in the upstairs room, which was brand new, clean, and nicely furnished and decorated. The breakfast, served every morning by the friendly owner, Josefina Ruiz, was sumptuous and plentiful. Roberta Christie, an ex-pat who lives in her own apartment on the second floor, handles the bookings and is a wealth of information about Teotitlan and Oaxaca. We highly recommend this place for those who are seeking refuge from the hectic, noisy city. "
